Withdrawal Stabilization Services
For individuals experiencing physical withdrawal symptoms, Avalon provides a safe and structured environment with 24/7 medically supervised care. Our Withdrawal Stabilization Services are designed to manage the physical and emotional challenges of detox with dignity, comfort, and respect. We understand that this is one of the most vulnerable steps in the recovery journey—and we walk with you every step of the way.
Our Approach:
Our experienced clinical and medical team is on-site 24/7 to closely monitor and support your health during detox. Vital signs are tracked regularly, and individualized care is adjusted as your needs change. We treat not just the symptoms, but the whole person—ensuring that you feel seen, supported, and safe throughout the process.
We utilize evidence-based medications—such as buprenorphine, methadone, and naltrexone—when clinically appropriate, to reduce cravings, minimize withdrawal discomfort, and prevent early relapse. These medications are always prescribed with informed consent and integrated into a broader therapeutic plan tailored to your goals.
Detox is not the destination—it’s the first step. Our team provides emotional support, recovery education, and motivational engagement to help you prepare for residential or outpatient treatment. We coordinate with you and your treatment team to ensure a smooth and thoughtful handoff into the next phase of care, setting the stage for long-term recovery.

Residential Addiction Treatment
We Build the Program Around the Client
At Avalon Wellness & Recovery, we believe healing happens when care is personalized, respectful, and collaborative. Our Residential Treatment Program is designed to be flexible and responsive—built around the client, not asking the client to adapt to a rigid structure. We provide 24/7 medical and therapeutic support in a safe and nurturing environment where your recovery journey is guided by your goals, values, and lived experience.
What to Expect:
From day one, you are part of the treatment planning process. Our clinical team partners with you to create a plan that reflects your history, goals, and preferences. Whether you are seeking help for co-occurring disorders, trauma, or long-term substance use, your plan is dynamic and evolves with your progress. We understand that no two people recover the same way—so we don’t treat them the same way.
Our licensed medical professionals are available 24/7 to ensure your physical and emotional safety. We offer evidence-based medication-assisted treatment (MAT) when appropriate and continuously monitor your well-being during detox, stabilization, and beyond. We take time to explain your options, answer your questions, and include you in all decisions regarding your health.
Therapy is where transformation begins. You’ll meet with a licensed therapist individually to work through personal challenges, trauma, and goals. Group therapy offers a chance to connect, share, and learn from peers in recovery. Family sessions are available to help repair trust, rebuild relationships, and educate loved ones about the recovery process. We make therapy a space that honors your voice and lived experience.
Recovery is more than abstinence—it’s about learning to live. Our workshops cover emotional regulation, healthy communication, boundaries, conflict resolution, self-care, employment readiness, and relapse prevention. You will gain tools that support sustainable recovery and help you navigate life with greater confidence and clarity.
At Avalon, community is part of the treatment. Being surrounded by others on similar journeys can provide powerful encouragement and insight. Through shared experiences, you’ll find strength, belonging, and accountability. Our environment encourages mutual respect and authentic connection—because no one should have to do recovery alone.
Outpatient & Continuing Care
Ongoing Support for a Life in Recovery
Recovery doesn’t end when residential treatment does—it evolves. Avalon’s Outpatient Treatment Services provide essential, structured support for individuals transitioning from higher levels of care or those seeking long-term guidance while living in the community. Our outpatient program is designed to meet you where you are, helping you maintain progress, build resilience, and thrive in daily life.
Outpatient services include:
Ongoing therapy sessions help you deepen insight, strengthen coping strategies, and stay grounded in your recovery goals. Individual therapy focuses on personalized support, while group sessions foster connection and continued growth through shared experiences. We address challenges such as stress, relationships, activators, and emotional regulation—equipping you with tools for real-world success.
Life after treatment comes with new responsibilities and opportunities. Our case managers and recovery coaches work side-by-side with you to set achievable goals, access housing and employment resources, manage legal or medical appointments, and maintain a healthy routine. We walk with you as you rebuild your life—step by step, day by day.
Connection is at the heart of sustained recovery. We encourage participation in mutual aid groups such as Alcoholics Anonymous (AA), Narcotics Anonymous (NA), SMART Recovery, or other peer-led communities. These groups offer accountability, encouragement, and a sense of belonging. We help you connect with the recovery community that best aligns with your personal beliefs, preferences, and needs—because long-term recovery is built on choice and connection.
Recovery isn’t just about avoiding substances—it’s about creating a life worth living. We help clients explore and build routines, relationships, hobbies, and values that make life enjoyable and meaningful. Whether it’s reconnecting with family, developing creative outlets, or finding purpose in work or service, we support you in building a lifestyle that supports both wellness and joy.

Outpatient Services offer ongoing support for individuals who have completed higher levels of care or are seeking long-term recovery resources. With regular therapy sessions, group meetings, and access to Avalon’s community network, our outpatient programs help you maintain your progress and thrive beyond treatment.
Outpatient Services
Wellness & Recreation Services

Avalon’s spa environment is thoughtfully designed to promote holistic healing through proven wellness techniques. Each element supports nervous system regulation, trauma recovery, and physical restoration.
Our infrared dry sauna promotes deep sweating, stimulates circulation, and helps release toxins that may have built up in the body during substance use. The steam room, with 100% humidity, opens the airways, softens muscles, and provides respiratory relief—especially beneficial for clients recovering from smoking or opioid use.
Exposure to cold water helps reduce inflammation, improve circulation, and stimulate dopamine and norepinephrine—neurochemicals often depleted by substance use. It also improves resilience to stress and supports emotional regulation by calming the overactive nervous system common in early recovery.
We guide clients through a cycle of sauna, cold plunge, and steam to mimic the natural alternation between effort and rest, activation and calm. This helps rewire the body and brain for healthier stress responses and emotional balance.
Addiction Treatment Services
At Avalon Wellness & Recovery, we go beyond traditional treatments by offering services that nurture your physical, emotional, and mental well-being.

Therapeutic & Behavioral Health Services
Evidence-Based Care to Support Emotional Healing and Lasting Recovery.
At Avalon, we believe that meaningful recovery includes more than physical stabilization—it requires emotional healing, self-discovery, and connection. Our Therapeutic & Behavioral Health Services are grounded in evidence-based practices and delivered by a team of compassionate, trauma-informed professionals. Whether you're addressing past trauma, managing co-occurring mental health disorders, or building healthy coping strategies, our therapies are designed to meet you where you are and support where you’re going.
Our Core Therapeutic Services Include:
CBT helps you identify and reframe negative thought patterns, beliefs, and behaviors that contribute to substance use. By increasing awareness of how your thoughts impact your actions, CBT empowers you to develop healthier coping mechanisms and emotional resilience.
DBT is especially effective for individuals struggling with emotional dysregulation, self-harm, or intense interpersonal conflicts. It teaches practical skills in four key areas: mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotional regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness—offering structure and tools for navigating overwhelming emotions.
MI is a collaborative, nonjudgmental approach that helps you explore ambivalence and strengthen your motivation for change. Our therapists guide you in setting meaningful goals, enhancing self-efficacy, and tapping into your own reasons for pursuing recovery—because the best motivation comes from within.
In one-on-one sessions with a licensed therapist, you’ll have a safe, confidential space to explore trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, and other personal challenges. Individual therapy is tailored to your needs and may incorporate a variety of approaches including EMDR, DBT, and strengths-based interventions.
Group therapy offers powerful peer connection and shared learning. Facilitated by trained clinicians, groups provide structure and support as you work through addiction-related challenges, practice interpersonal skills, and develop a sense of belonging within the recovery community.
Recovery is stronger when relationships are supported. Our family and couples counseling services help loved ones rebuild trust, improve communication, and understand the recovery process. We work to break down walls built by addiction and replace them with connection and healing.

Aftercare and Alumni Program

Connection Doesn’t End at Discharge—It’s Just the Beginning
At Avalon, we believe that recovery is sustained through connection, purpose, and ongoing support. While we are still in our early stages, our commitment to building a vibrant and supportive recovery community is at the heart of everything we do. We know that long-term success isn’t just about what happens during treatment—it’s about the relationships and resources that follow you after you leave.
Before discharge, each client will work with their treatment team to develop a personalized aftercare plan that includes outpatient services, recovery coaching, support groups, and referrals to community resources. We help ensure every individual has a clear, practical path forward.
We’re actively working to create an alumni program that keeps former clients connected to one another and to Avalon. This will include regular check-ins, alumni gatherings, volunteer opportunities, and continued access to selected groups and activities.
We plan to host events, workshops, and service projects that allow alumni and current clients to stay engaged, give back, and grow together. These offerings will be rooted in community empowerment and shared experience.
Our goal is to create a recovery community that extends beyond our walls—a space where people feel seen, supported, and never alone. Even after formal treatment ends, Avalon remains a resource, a connection point, and a place of belonging.
Recovery doesn’t end when treatment does. Our vision for aftercare services includes:
-
Regular therapy and peer support groups to reinforce progress
-
A growing network of alumni connections.
-
Community events and mentorship opportunities.
Planning for Lifelong Recovery

A Future of Continued Support
As Avalon grows, we will develop a dedicated alumni program designed to provide long-term engagement, shared experiences, and valuable recovery resources. Our goal is to ensure that every individual who completes treatment has the tools, connections, and encouragement needed to thrive in recovery.
